Archiving Policy
Archives of Operative Medicine ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content through participation in established digital archiving systems.
The journal utilizes the following preservation services:
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe):
AOM content is preserved through the LOCKSS system, which allows participating libraries to collect, store, and serve journal content as part of a distributed archiving system. Learn more at the LOCKSS Publisher Manifest.
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS):
AOM also participates in the CLOCKSS initiative, which offers a secure and decentralized archiving infrastructure for long-term access. CLOCKSS archives scholarly content to ensure it remains available in the event of publisher website failure or discontinuation. More information is available at the CLOCKSS Publisher Manifest.
These preservation measures are in line with best practices recommended by international indexing and archiving organizations. The journal is committed to maintaining the accessibility, authenticity, and integrity of all published scholarly content.
